fourteen.

I'm skipping Sunday's eats. I was not feeling well and honestly did not consume a lot of solids. That's probably more than you want to know!



Food log for Monday, February 09, 2009:

Breakfast- apple fritter

Lunch- apple, hummus with whole grain pita, green pepper

Snack- mini pizza (size of my palm, really), 1/4 c Kashi GOLEAN Crunch! Honey Almond Flax cereal with skim milk and brown sugar

Dinner- vegetarian chili

Snack- zone perfect orange cranberry bar (nasty), hot chocolate





Food log for Tuesday, February 10, 2009:

Breakfast- 2 raisin bran muffins

Lunch- vegetarian chili

Snack- soyjoy mango coconut bar

Lunch- peppered turkey sandwich on whole grain bread with mustard and swiss cheese, pear

Snack- 5 timbits and a small cafe mocha from Timmy Ho's

Menu Planning Monday already! We definitely strayed a bit from last week's menu - but that's okay! Meal planning is certainly helping our bodies and our wallets.



Monday: Vegetarian chili, salad

Tuesday: Tuna melt, cucumber

Wednesday: Cheeseburgers, broccoli

Thursday: Hungarian goulash, garlic mashed potatoes

Friday: Vegetarian chili, broccoli

Saturday: Hungarian goulash, noodles

Sunday: Vegetarian chili and/or macaroni and cheese



I don't know about this week...we may easily tire of the continued repeats. Must force ourselves to choose from this list! ;)

Food log post for Saturday, February 07, 2009:

Breakfast- toasted sourdough english muffin with swiss cheese and raspberry jam

Lunch- soyjoy raisin almond bar, english breakfast tea

Snack- 6" veggie delight sub on honey oat from subway with provolone, salt/pepper, oil/vinegar, and everything but tomatoes and jalopeno peppers

Dinner- hot chocolate; half of a three cheese omelette, hash browns, and wheat toast from Bob Evans

Snack- 5 timbits and a small cafe mocha from Timmy Ho's

Breakfast- 2 pumpkin walnut muffins, english breakfast tea

Lunch- peppered turkey sandwich on whole grain bread with mustard and swiss cheese, banana (repeated again, sigh)

Snack- 3 gingerbread cookies (can't help myself)

Dinner- romaine lettuce with balsamic vinaigrette, walnuts and avocado; cheese pizza with green pepper; killian's

Lunch- pita with hummus, avocado, green pepper; apple

Snack- watermelon jolly rancher

Breakfast- 2 pumpkin walnut muffins, english breakfast tea

Lunch- peppered turkey sandwich on whole grain bread with mustard and swiss cheese, banana

Snack- spaghetti, 3 gingerbread cookies (I know, I know...)

Dinner- pumpkin waffle turned horribly wrong, used remaining batter to make pumpkin pancakes

Snack- hot chocolate



I am so tired of that turkey sandwich. DH wasn't eating the turkey, though - somebody had to!

Monday: spaghetti, stuffed zucchini

Tuesday: tuna salad pita (tuna, hummus, romaine, green pepper, whole grain pita), apple

Wednesday: pumpkin waffles with maple syrup, banana

Thursday: left-over spaghetti

Friday: pita with hummus, avocado, romaine, green pepper; sweet potato fries

Saturday: eating out

Sunday: macaroni and cheese, boiled cabbage
